The staff at the Fredericton Convention Centre agree that they work here because they love it. They love their city, they love their centre, and they love having groups fill the building to capacity. All of the staff have experience in the hospitality sector, and they are waiting to welcome you.

  Cathy Pugh

  Cathy has a strong record of success with hotels, tourism marketing organizations and convention centres in both Fredericton and Halifax. She was the first FCC employee and was instrumental in getting the centre off to a running start. One of her first goals was to assemble an all-star team and that she did; calling it the best team she’s ever worked with.
  
  An industry and community leader, Cathy is Past Chair of the Convention Centres of Canada, a Board Member with the Fredericton International Airport Authority, while also being an active member of Tourism Industry Association of Canada, Tourism Accommodation Levy Management Committee, Fredericton Chamber of Commerce and Rendez-Vous Fredericton.
  
  She likes to spend her spare time with family and friends; skiing, biking, boating, cooking, traveling and occasionally some ‘wine tasting’.

  Erin has been a member of the FCC team since the very beginning, even prior to our Grand Opening in January 2011. With more than 15 years sales experience in the hospitality industry Erin is committed to service excellence and truly understands each clients’ needs are unique. Like you, Erin insists on having things done right!
  
  Erin has a strong belief in community service and is an active member of MPI Ottawa Chapter, the Fredericton International Airport Authority advisory committee and The Chalmers Foundation Inc., as well as volunteering on an ad-hoc basis with organizations close to her heart such as the Royal Road Elementary School breakfast program.
  
  Outside of work you can find Erin…well, outside! Going for a run on the trails or a boat ride on the Saint John River with her husband Rodney and 2 beautiful kids.

  Bringing experience gained from a lengthy history in hotel management, the fact that Brenda keeps us all laughing is just a bonus! Based at our Fredericton venue, Brenda gives back to her industry by volunteering with MPI Toronto, CSAE Atlantic, and PCMA Canada East. She takes pride in being an ambassador for her city and celebrating all that makes it something special to share with potential visitors to our region. If you attend a Fredericton music festival, you will likely see Brenda there, either as a reveler or a volunteer. You will often see her enjoying local restaurants, boutiques, and taprooms, in appreciation and support of the local businesses that give our city its distinct feel. Add walking the trails with her pup Ms. Shelby, and you can see that Brenda participates in Fredericton life to the fullest. Meeting planners are in good hands!

  Kristina has been a member of the events team since our doors first opened in 2011. Armed with a Certified Meeting Professional Certification and a diploma in Events and Promotions Management, Kristina’s passion for the event industry is strengthened by her desire to provide the highest level of customer service. Her event planning expertise is relied upon by colleagues and clients alike. When not seeing to every detail of your event, Kristina enjoys creating art, and going on adventures with her beautiful family.

  Judith’s experience as a client of FCC prior to joining our team provides her with a unique point-of-view. She knows exactly what you need to create a successful event here! Having once been a flight attendant as well as a learning specialist before finding event management, Jude can keep her cool in any number of high stress situations.
  
  Outside of work Jude and her partner Joel are active on Fredericton’s beautiful trails with their dog Roy, as well as playing on a local co-ed softball team. They live in Marysville - an historic and storied Fredericton neighbourhood along the Nashwaak river.

  Andrea’s smiling face is the first one you’ll see when you come in our front doors, as she handles all aspects of front office operations with grace and humour. Since 2011, Andrea has worked closely with our events and catering teams, contributes regularly to our social media content, and stays on top of what the office needs to run smoothly. Have a question? Andrea knows the answer! A creative soul, Andrea loves to paint, make jewellery and take lovely imaginative pictures of her 2 beautiful kids!

  After spending a few years in British Columbia as Operations Manager of a four-arena Sportsplex, Brent made his way back home to Fredericton and the FCC team is certainly happy he did! He loves the hands-on nature of his job, and finds it a pleasure every day to maintain a beautiful state-of-the-art building. Brent takes the role of creating a comfortable environment for clients and delegates very seriously. Trail running, motorcycles, dog Harvey and being both a Dad and volunteer Big Brother keep Brent busy when not on the job!

  Craig works on site at FCC as Technical Services Manager for Encore, FCC’s preferred in-house AV partner. Before joining the FCC team, Craig worked as an electrical apprentice, bartender/ banquets server/ houseman, mailman and most recently a Technical Services Representative for Freeman. What a perfect storm of skills and experience he brings to any event! Outside of work, Craig is passionate about Le Bleu, Blanc et Rouge - Les Canadiens de Montréal! And he takes every chance to head north of Fredericton to a family hunting lodge on the Napadogan Stream.
