The Fredericton Convention Centre (FCC) is pleased to confirm that we have entered into a space licensing agreement, for our premises located at 670 Queen Street, with the New Brunswick Department of Justice and Office of the Attorney General for the remainder of 2020.
Fredericton Convention Centre sales and leadership staff will continue to work remotely, securing business for 2021 and beyond. The sales cycle for national conventions is often 2-5 years in advance. Prior to COVID-19, staff of the FCC were working with clients, and industry stakeholders, to book events in 2021 through 2025. These initiatives and negotiations continue, preparing to bring delegates back into Fredericton’s downtown, as soon as we are able to do so safely.
FCC is working closely with national and international partners such as Convention Centres of Canada, Canadian Society of Association Executives, Tourism Industry Association of Canada, Professional Convention Management Association and the International Association of Venue Managers. Together we are learning best practices from experiences around the world, to implement here in Fredericton when the large gatherings are allowed once again.
